Major construction work was necessary on the 40 foot container
as the outside had to meet ISO shipping regulations with no protrusions.
|
Massive holes had to be cut into both sides of the
container and large side loading doors fitted.
As we were to install several tons of equipment inside the container
we also needed to strengthen the container to replace the integrity
strength of the container.
The customer asked for a gantry crain to load heavy equipment. We
turned the container onto its roof to strengthen and reinforce the ceiling
area to take the weight that the crain would lift.

Once the container was turned the correct way up, the rest
of the cutting and fabricating was able to continue.
Door ways, vents and the huge through side loading doors was able to
be finished.
All the work was undertaken by Container conversions and completed

The electrical control gear and heavy pipe work fitted to
the inside of the container |
Once the water purifying plant was fitted it was fired up and tested.
To the best of our knowledge, this container is still chugging away, producing
fresh clean water somewhere in the desert!
